Wilma Marie Satren, 103, of Wanamingo, MN, passed away at St. Marys Hospital on March 8, 2025.

She was born and raised in NEW York Mills, MN, the youngest of three girls. In 1942 she came to Wanamingo to teach where she met John Satren. They were married in May 1944 and raised their family. Wilma was an active member of Minneola Lutheran Church, PTA, Girl Scouts, and was an avid reader, knitter and gardener.

Wilma is survived by her son, Peter and daughters Judith (Norman) Ayen, Carolyn (William) Heitkamp; stepdaughter Dorothy (Duane) Thompson, 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two sisters.

Private services are being held at Minneola Lutheran Church.
