The funeral Mass for William Lawrence Brennan will be Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 11:00am at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with the Rev. James Russell officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Viola, Minnesota.

Mr. Brennan, age 102, passed away on October 13, 2014 at Madonna Towers.  He was born October 29, 1911 on the family farm in the Viola area to John and Mary (Vaughn) Brennan.  Bill farmed in the Viola area most of his life.  In October of 1953 he married Barbara Mulholland Towey.  Barbara died January 12, 1990.  Bill and Barb celebrated the centennial of the Viola Gopher Count as King and Queen, which was very important to them.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife and all of his siblings; Erwin (Frances) Brennan, Mary (Larry) Manahan, John (Mildred) Brennan, Gerald (Helen) Brennan, Francis Brennan, Catherine (Joseph) Coleman, and James Brennan.   He is survived by many step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Memorials are suggested to Seasons Hospice or to Madonna Towers.
