William M. Archer, age 97, of Rochester, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield, Minnesota.

A proud veteran, William served his country with honor in the Korean War and WWII. He dedicated most of his life to farming and found great joy in playing cards and visiting casinos. William was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois, and his son-in-law, David Forland.

William will be lovingly remembered by his four children: Sue Forland, Sandy (Brian) Wolfgram, William (Deb) Archer, and Mary (Richard) Long. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held to honor William's life at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Calvary Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post 92, and all are welcome to attend.
