Wesley Harold Elias, 90 years old, formerly of Rochester, MN died on April 23, 2012, in Cedar Park, Texas after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. His funeral service will be held in Rochester, MN in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home on Saturday, April 28th at 9:30 am. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday evening, April 27 ^th from 5 – 8 pm at Macken Funeral Home and a half hour prior to the service on Saturday morning.  Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at Alz.org.

Wesley was born November 12, 1921, in Pine Island, MN, the son of Irvie and Lela (Hart) Elias. On April 18, 1944, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Reinhart. Wesley worked on the pipeline across the middle and western United States from 1947-1956. Then in 1956 they built a home and settled down in Rochester, where Wesley became a self employed, contract milk hauler for the next 28 years until he retired in 1984. Wesley enjoyed keeping busy and working and was always plowing snow or chopping wood and helping out his friends and neighbors.

Those left to honor his memory include his son, Fred Elias of Naples, FL, and daughters, Becky (Joel) Jerabek of North Richland Hills, TX and Julie (Kevin) Timm of Cedar Park, TX, 5 grandchildren; Susan Elias, David Elias, Brad Jerabek, Jennifer Jerabek, Alexandra Timm, and Wesley's brother, Howard Elias, of Byron, MN. He was preceded in death by his son, Craig Elias in 1978, and his wife, Dorothy Elias in 1998.
