Wayne was born July 1, 1932, in Pine Island, MN to John and Rose (Meek) Stucky. He was the youngest of 11 children. He graduated from Pine Island High School in 1950. After graduation Wayne moved to Minneapolis and began work as a letter carrier for the US Post Office.

You could also find Wayne playing bugle in the Drum and Bugle Corp during parade season. Music and family were his life.

He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Stucky, five brothers, five sisters, and his parents.
