The funeral Service for Warren E. Kennedy will be at 1:00PM Monday, March 14, 2011 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rochester with the Rev. James Heining officiating.  Visitation will be one hour in advance of the service at church.  Burial will in Grandview Memorial Gardens with the American Legion Post 92 of Rochester Honor Guard.

Mr. Kennedy, age 94 of Meadow Lakes Assisted Living died March 9 ^th at Golden Living Center East, living only one day there.

He was born March 10, 1916 at Clinton, MN.  On August 3, 1949 he married Ruth Lorraine Strei in Odessa, MN.  Ruth died May 12 ^th 2004.

Warren moved to Rochester in 1962 and worked for Tempo Dept Store and then Fernstrom Moving and later Metcalf-Mayflower retiring in his early 80's.  He was active in the American Legion and there Honor Guard.  He enjoyed walking, reading and spending time his grandson Brandon.

He is survived by one son, Bruce (Mary) Kennedy of Rochester, one grandson Brandon Kennedy (Linda Malnar) and a sister, Loretta Ericksen of Brooklyn Center, MN.  He was preceded in death by two brothers.
