Vera Mae Mallan died on Tuesday August 5, 2014, she was 86 years old.  She was born September 8, 1927 in Danvers MN. She fought a courageous battle with breast cancer for many years and passed peacefully.

Survivors include her two sons  Wayne (Jean) Mallan and Mike (Nancy) Mallan both from Rochester, and her daughter Patricia (David) Smith from Lakeville, MN.  Vera had eight grandchildren and five, soon to be six, great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister Marge (Leo) Pierson and two brothers Dennis (Donna) Radtke and Delmer Radtke.  Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle and her parents.

The funeral service for Vera Mae Mallan will be at 11:00 AM Saturday August 9, 2014 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in southwest Rochester, MN with Rev. Ann Siverling officiating.  Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester, MN.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
