Timothy Paul Griffin, 72 of Minneapolis, formerly of Rochester, passed away of natural causes on September 11, 2026 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital.

Timothy was born on April 19, 1954 in Rochester to Walter and Agnes (Halloran) Griffin. He attended the rural country school near the farm. He graduated from Lourdes High School in 1972. He then attended Rochester Vocational Technical College. He worked as manager for Holiday Gas Station in Rochester. He moved to Minneapolis to work at Bachman’s Floral as Shipping/Receiving Clerk. He retired in August of 2024 after 27 years with Bachman’s.

He is survived by his siblings Mary Frances (John) Gillich of Stewartville, Patrick (Bridget) Griffin of Rochester, Daniel (Faye) of Rochester, Roseann (Charles) Melby of Rochester, and his brother-in-law Al Walczak of Florida.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother William and sisters Kathleen Walczak and Sheila Griffin.

The Memorial Mass for Timothy will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 11:00AM at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in Simpson. Visitation will be held starting one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in St. Bridget’s Cemetery.
