Thomas Alan Regnier – Rochester

The funeral service for Tom Regnier will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December

15, 2010 at Autumn Ridge Church in Rochester, with Rev. Dan Farm and Rev. John

C. Steer officiating. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Tinley

Park, Illinois on Saturday December 18, 2010. Visitation will be held from

5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home on

Tuesday December 14, 2010 and one hour before the service on Wednesday at

Autumn Ridge Church.

Mr. Regnier, 64, of Rochester, MN died of a heart attack Saturday, December

11, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital.

Tom was born November 2, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to William and Ruth

Regnier. After graduation from Fenger High School in Chicago in 1964, he

was employed by Ingersoll-Rand. In 1976, he moved to Rochester and worked for

Crenlo in sales and marketing until his retirement in 2005. Tom had most

recently worked for Autumn Ridge Church as a cherished member of the

Facilities Staff. He could build or fix anything and was known for his attention to

detail. If you needed anything done right, you'd call Tom!

In January of 1966, Tom married Karen A. Prafke of Chicago, Illinois and they had

two children, Sandy (Frank Jr.) Sebastian of Tinley Park, Illinois, and Mark

(Kerry) Regnier of Batavia, Illinois. Tom and Karen later divorced. In

October of 1978, Tom married Cynthia Ellen Draghu and they had two sons,

Brian William Regnier of Niland Ca. and Eric Thomas Regnier of Charleston,

SC. Tom has 5 grandchildren: Papa Tom to Kendra Ward,  Papa Oogha to Anna and Alexander Sebastian, and Papa Thomas to Luke and Grace Regnier.

Tom is also survived by his sister Shirley Guth of Louisville, Kentucky. Tom was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Autumn Ridge Church, or The

Wounded Warrior Project.
