Thomas "Tom" Kennedy, 68 of Rochester, died peacefully at his family home on December 16, 2023 with his family by his side.

Tom was born on March 7, 1955 in Rochester to Roger and Patrice (Russell) Kennedy. He attended St. John's grade school and graduated from Lourdes High School in 1973. On December 20, 1982 he married Debra Moe. He attended Winona State University and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. He was a faithful public servant for Olmsted County, working for the Juvenile Detention Center until his retirement. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, camping, and especially loved his dogs. Tom was a conversationalist and valued family first. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife Debra of Rochester, his children Patrick (Lindsey) of Rochester, Hannah (David Cameron) of Rochester, grandson William Cameron, sister Barbara (Mike) Ewen of Rochester, Bob (Kay) Kennedy of Cottage Grove, MN, Mary (Lee) Fuhrmeister of Rochester and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Roger and Patrice.

The Celebration of Life for Tom will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 5:00PM until 8:00pm in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Pheasants Forever or Conservation Corps Minnesota.
