Thomas "Tom" Robert Buske, 73, of Rochester, MN, passed away peacefully on July 26 after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer.  Surrounded by loved ones, he faced every challenge with strength, grace, and unwavering hope, inspiring all who knew him.

Tom was born December 27,1951 in Rochester, MN to Phillip and Velma Buske.  He graduated from Mayo High School in 1969. Tom was employed at Mayo Clinic for 34 years, retiring in 2006.

On January 20,1984 he married the love of his life, Lori Dostal. They celebrated 41 years together.

Tom made everyone feel welcome and always had a place for you in his garage where he loved to hang out.

He is survived by his wife, Lori; daughter, Katina (Franck) Gougeon and son, Ryan (Kristina) Dostal; six grandchildren; brothers Charles (Margaret) Buske and James (Twanna) Buske.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 8, 2025, in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.
