In Loving Memory of Teegan James Charles Wenzel
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Teegan. He departed this earthly life on November 14, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. He was 21 years old.
Teegan was born on June 21, 2002 to Micheal Wenzel and Nakisha Phillips-Dyson in Rochester, MN. He was a source of joy and inspiration to all who knew him. Teegan's vibrant spirit touched the lives of countless people, and he will forever be remembered for his remarkable character and unwavering compassion.
Teegan lived a life that was dedicated to the service of others. He received Christ at an early age and attended Praise and Worship Deliverance Ministry (Kenosha, Wisconsin) where he loved to play drums. His belief and faith in Jesus Christ were very important to him and apart of his core values. He attended (High School of Recording Arts) and graduated with a degree in recording arts with honors.
Teegan was a cherished son, friend, sibling, and more. He was the epitome of love and selflessness, always putting the needs of others before his own. His warm smile, infectious laughter, and genuine care made everyone feel valued and cherished.
Teegan had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies and interests. He loved playing football, basketball, baseball and video games. Most of all he loved listening to music, these all brought immense joy and fulfillment. Teegan had a way of finding beauty in the simple things and taught us all to appreciate the little moments that make life so precious.
His memory will forever be etched in the hearts of his beloved family members. Teegan is survived by his parents Micheal Wenzel and Nakisha Phillips-Dyson, his stepfather, Bruce Dyson; his sisters Azryelle, Amber (Noah Smith), Destiny, Mikayla, Adrian. His brother's Bruce Dyson Jr. (BJ), Tyson, Terrance, and Dameon James. He leaves his maternal and paternal grandparents, Barbara Phillips, Candace and Dan Larkin, and Linda Wenzel. He is also survived by his aunts, Linnea, Raylonda, Yolonda, and Amanda Wenzel; Raymont Jr. and Phillips family from Texas; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; his nieces Arabella and Gabrielle Rose.
Teegan would have wanted us to include his best friend, Jeremiah. A few of his cousins, David, Elijah, Noah, Eva, Shanna, Rachel, Will, and Isaiah. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Terry Wenzel and Raymore Phillips.
Teegan was a beacon of light and guiding force in their lives, and would have been grateful for the times they had together.
