Tammy Sue Arhart, 48, of Rochester,MN, passed peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Friday, July 1, 2022.
Tammy was born on March 4, 1974 in Charles City, IA. Tammy, at the age of 18 went on to pursue her nursing degree at NIACC. With all her hard and tireless work, she was able to obtain her associates in nursing. Tammy went on to start her first nursing job as a psych nurse at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City, IA. It was in the year 2000, that Tammy would meet the love of her life, Richard "Rick" Dean Arhart. As their loving relationship progress, the couple decided it was time to tie the knot and have their first child. Tammy and Rick Arhart were joined in union on October 7, 2001. A few months later, the pair welcomed their first beautiful daughter, Abigail McKenzie Arhart, on February 7, 2001. Tammy was such a nurturing and sweet soul, that she decided she wanted to welcome another beautiful baby girl, Alexandria Monet Arhart, on February 6, 2002 and completed her ideal loving family. Tammy was such an accomplished and prestigious registered psych nurse, that she was offered a position at the #1 hospital nationwide, the Mayo Clinic. Tammy worked at the Mayo Clinic as an RN in the psych department, Generose, up until her last breath; totaling at 14 years.
Tammy had simple but strong passions in her life. Her strongest being her family, but most importantly, her two daughters. Tammy was an amazing, selfless, sacrificial and loving mother that her daughters will remember for eternity. Another important piece of her life was her nursing career. Tammy was an extremely tireless and hardworking nurse that always put her patients first.
Tammy is survived by her two daughters, Abigail Arhart of Rochester, MN, and Alexandria Arhart of Rochester, MN. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Richard "Rick" Arhart, and the loving woman that became her mom, Patricia Bailey.
The memorial gathering will be held 4:00pm-7:00pm, Thursday, July 7, 2022 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Her burial will be held at the Westside Cemetery in Marble Rock, IA, on Friday July 8, 2022 at 11:00am.
