Sylvia E. Braasch, age 92, of Rochester, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at Maple Manor Health Nursing Home.

She was born May 7, 1922 in Gaylord, MN to Alvina Giedelmeister and Herman Braasch.

Sylvia worked as a Nurses Aid at the Loretta Hospital in New Ulm, MN.

Survivors include one brother, William (Verona) Braasch of Gaylord, MN. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lilly Hahn and Violet Estesen and one brother, Ray Braasch.

A Funeral Service for Sylvia will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 10:30am at the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with the Rev. Lester Horntvedt officiating.
