Susan C. Rogalsky, 70, of Rochester and formerly of Lakeville, died on Sunday, January 2nd at St. Mary's Hospital.

Susan was born in Minneapolis, MN on August 13th, 1940 to Wilfred J and Margaret (Moran) Barrett.  She married Charles R Rogalsky on May 27, 1961 in Richfield, MN.  Susan was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening and canning fruits and vegetables. Throughout the years, she stayed a true Vikings fan and didn't miss a game.

She has resided at the Samaritan Bethany Heights nursing home in Rochester since July 2009.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Kurt) Ruby of Rochester, MN; by two sons, Charlie (Lori) Rogalsky of St. Paul, MN and Matt (Kelly) Rogalsky of Oakdale, MN; by seven grandchildren, Emily Loth, Andrew Loth, Mitch Rogalsky, Eric Rogalsky, Ian Rogalsky, Lance Rogalsky, and Christian Rogalsky and two step-grandchildren, Andrew Ruby, Allison Ruby.  In addition, she is survived by 7 brothers and 3 sisters, Michael (Dianne) Barrett, Joseph (Margaret) Barrett, John (Susan) Barrett, Patrick (Katie) Barrett, Rosemary (Howard) Ulan, Gregory Barrett, Elise Barrett, Theresa Barrett (Terry Stearn), George Barrett, and Anthony (Jaci) Barrett.

Susan is proceeded in death by her husband and parents.

Mass of Christian Burial is planned for 10:30am on Friday, January 7th, 2011 with Father David Barrett officiating in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home, Rochester, MN.  Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00PM Friday, assembly area one, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Visitation will be held one half hour prior to Mass.
