In Loving Memory of Susan Kathryn Boswell

Susan Kathryn Boswell, age 75, passed away peacefully at her home on October 27, 2026.

Born on February 7, 1951, in Richardton, North Dakota, Susan was the beloved daughter of Luke and Lorraine Jungers. She spent her childhood in Regent, North Dakota, before graduating from Stewartville High School in 1969. Susan dedicated many years of her life to working at the Mayo Clinic, where she remained until her retirement in 2018.

Susan found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved crocheting, searching for unique treasures while thrifting, and always reading. Her flower gardens brought her great joy, and she took pride in watching them bloom. She was also a wonderful cook who loved bringing people together through food. Her cooking was one of the many ways she expressed her love, and the meals and memories shared around her table will be cherished by those who knew her.

Susan had a caring and considerate heart and was someone who always thought of others. She had a gentle way about her and a kindness that made the people around her feel special. Whether through the little things she did, the time she spent with loved ones, or simply being there when someone needed her, Susan showed how much she cared.

Above all, Susan's greatest happiness came from the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she had for them was endless.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Christine (father, James Boswell); her grandchildren, Marquissa, Anthony, and Michael Jones (mother, Christine), Kali Starkson, Alexis, Arianna, and Alicia Boswell (father, Andy Boswell); and six dearly loved great-grandchildren, who brought her so much happiness.

She is also survived by her siblings, Genevieve, Betsy, Mary, Chuck, Sandra, Julie, David, Caroline, Amy, and John, along with many dear friends who held a special place in her heart.

Susan was preceded in death by her beloved son, Andy, and her parents, Luke and Lorraine Jungers.

Those who knew Susan will remember her for her warm heart, thoughtful nature, generosity, and the love she shared so freely. She found beauty in the little things, happiness in caring for others, and joy in making memories with the people she loved. Her kindness and gentle spirit touched more lives than she may have ever realized.

Though she is no longer here, the love she gave, the memories she created, the meals she shared, and the kindness she showed will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

A caring heart, a thoughtful soul, and a lifetime of love. Her memory will live on forever in all those whose lives she touched.
