My name is Stephanie Renee Wilson, I began my journey of life on April 30, 1975, I concluded my story on April 14, 2017. I was born in Rochester, Minnesota and passed from this life in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

My parents are Donna and Paul Wilson. I was blessed with four children; Karissa, Lamar, Jordan, and my beloved Catherine, who at two weeks, became an angel; as well as two grandchildren, Jaelyn and Nolen. Chad Wilson is my brother. My parents have been superior partners in providing a meaningful support system for our family.

I was a free spirit who enjoyed the variety that life has to offer. I befriended many while listening to the challenges others had. I lived to touch the lives of those around me through my compassion and I treated all people with love and respect. I have seen and experienced difficult decisions of those living on the streets or in poverty. I have been a victim to trauma throughout the years, have struggled with PTSD, and have prospered while having melanoma. I have witnessed and battled the hardships of being chemically dependent and what it has done to my wellbeing. I have helped many to "safety" while failing to secure myself from the demons of drug usage.

There will be a service of remembrance for Stephanie at 2:00PM on April 30, 2017 in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester, 1105 12th St SE with Rev. Paul Suprenant officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Memorials are preferred to Mission 21 of Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge Women's Facility in Rochester, MN.
