Veloske
June 28, 1959 – December 19, 2024
Stachia ("Stacy") L. Veloske
Stacy Lane Veloske 65, passed away on Thursday December 19, 2024, after a yearlong battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Stacy was born June 28, 1959, to Bob and Elaine (Miles) Keehn in Rochester, MN.
Stacy graduated from Mayo High School in 1977 and went to work for her dad for a few years at Keehn's grocery store in Zumbro Falls and then at Keehn's Liquor Store in Rochester. She really enjoyed working with her father! She then worked at various bars and restaurants until accepting a job at Mayo Clinic where she worked for 21 years, retiring in April 2020.
Stacy met her husband Brian at the Holiday Inn South in 1984. They were united in marriage September 8, 1989. They spent 40 great years traveling and raising three black labs.
Stacy enjoyed pontoon rides, fishing, crafting, picking morels and wild asparagus, happy hours, and live music. She found great happiness in feeding any animal she could!
She was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Elaine Keehn, her brother-in-law Kevin Sleeper, her sister-in-law Cheryl Keehn, and her mother-in-law Joan Wooner.
Stacy is survived by her husband Brian, brother Scott (Sue) Keehn, sister Holly Sleeper, brother Paul Keehn, sister Priscilla (Steve) Peterson, brother Tim Keehn, and many nieces and nephews whom she truly cherished.
The family is deeply grateful to Mayo Clinic Hospice Red Wing for their care of Stacy.
A celebration of life will be held on January 11, 2025, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Castle on North Broadway in Rochester. The family would like to see you dress in white as it was her favorite color. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens in the Spring.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Landing MN (a homeless shelter in Rochester) or a charity of your choice. Stacy always had a special spot in her heart for people in need.
