It is with great sadness that the family of Som Khaleck, 66, of Rochester, MN announce the passing of their beloved brother, on Tuesday June 24th, 2025.

Som was born in Xaignabouri, Laos in 1959. He then moved to the United States in January of 1981 and lived in California.

He passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Som was a soft-spoken man, whom you will always find a smile on his face that lit up the room. Som was a stoic man who cared deeply for his friends and family.

He is survived by his brothers Khan, Sy, and his sister Mahn, and caregiver, Manida along with lots of nieces and nephews.

Som was preceded in death by his father, Leck and mother, Thong, his older sisters Chan and Bee.
