Shirley Ann Stewart, 80, of Stewartville, passed away from natural causes on Friday September 12, 2014 in her home.

Shirley was born in Rochester, MN on March 26, 1934 to Emma and Albert Lind.  She married Walter Stewart on January 18, 1951 in Lacrosse, WI.

Shirley is survived by her three grandchildren, Nicole (Yung) Ly of Stewartville, MN; Shawn Stewart of Stewartville, MN and Stewart Kruger of Rochester, MN and seven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband.  She was also preceded in death by her two sons, Roy and Donnie and one daughter Barb and also one infant daughter.

Shirley worked at the Green Stamp Store and Kemps.  She loved playing cards, doing puzzles, board games, watching TV and traveling to the casino along with going up north fishing.

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday September 17, 2014 at 11:00 am at Macken Funeral Home River Park Chapel with Pastor Steve Larson officiating.  There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.  Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
