In Loving Memory of Sharon Golden 1952 – 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Golden, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on June 16th, 2025.

Sharon was a woman of deep love and vibrant spirit.  Above all else, she cherished her family and found joy in life's simple, beautiful things, especially crafting and singing. Gifted with a wonderful voice, Sharon could often be found at karaoke nights, sharing her talent and spreading joy wherever she went.

Professionally, Sharon had a distinguished career in IT.  She played a key role in producing the first digitized version of the Mayo Medical health book at IVI Publishing and served as a respected team leader at IBM for many years.

In addition to her career, Sharon generously gave her time to others. She volunteered regularly at school while her children were growing up, served her church community, and sang in the church choir, bringing comfort and joy to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma Swgyman and Paul White, and her beloved son, Travers Golden.

Sharon is survived by her loving son, Joshua Golden and his wife Jessica; her treasured grandchildren, Astyia Golden, Colin Golden, and Gavin Golden; and many friends and extended family who will miss her dearly.

Her laughter, creativity, and voice will live on in all who knew her.
