Sharon Marie Finley, age 74 of Rochester passed away peacefully on August 29, 2018 at Rochester Health Services East.

Sharon was born on August 7, 1944 in Chatfield, MN to Edwin and Jenny Finley. She went to Fillmore Elementary School and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1963. Sharon worked at KinderCare in Rochester from 1984 until her retirement as a cook. She enjoyed garage sales, gardening, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Phillip (JoAn) Konkel of Sioux Falls, SD, Aaron Konkel of Rochester, and PeterPaul (Sabrina) Konkel of Eyota; her niece, Cheryl Miller of Red Wing; and ten grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Matthew; her brother, Ervin; and her sisters, Maryjane, Leighla, Thelma, LaVerne, and Pauline.

The memorial service for Sharon will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2018 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service in the chapel. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rochester.
