Scott A. Hady , 62, of Rochester, MN, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Scott was born on November 2, 1962, in Rochester, MN, the eldest of four children to Alex and Marilyn Jean Hady. He attended Mayo High School, where he enjoyed playing baseball and football. After graduation, Scott proudly served in the U.S. Army for ten years, including a station in Germany.

Following his military service, Scott built a successful career in the HVAC industry and was a proud partner at Action Plumbing & Heating in Rochester.

On July 19, 2003, Scott married Jacqueline Ruffalo-Hady. Together they shared a love for the outdoors, especially spending time in Lake City, riding in their side-by-side, enjoying time on the boat, and playing with their new puppy Jack. Scott also cherished cooking for his family and friends and will be remembered for his generous heart and warm hospitality.

Scott is survived by his beloved wife, Jacqueline; his children, Josh and Nicki; and his siblings, Steve, Shaun, and Sheri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Marilyn Jean, and his son, Trevor.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025, in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with a reception to follow. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Rochester Youth Baseball Association or Paws & Claws Humane Society.
