Sandra Kay Collett, 78 of Rochester, passed away peacefully at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus, on October 13, 2022.

Sandra Kay Nelson was born on October 13, 1944 in Rochester to Nels "Albert" and Elma (Kachelski) Nelson. She graduated from John Marshall High School in 1962. Sandy worked for Crenlo, Inc. as a Computer Operator. She retired after over 37 years. On May 16, 1964 she married David Collett in Rochester. Sandy loved animals, especially her dogs. She also loved spending time with family, gardening, and traveling.

She is survived by her husband David of Rochester, her children Todd and Sean of Rochester and Jamie (Adam) of Dover, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Dorothy, Donald, Clarence, Kenneth, Stanley, Richard and Edward.

The Funeral Service for Sandy will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 11:00AM in the River Park Chapel and Macken Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Rochester, MN.
