Ry Ngin Ouk

Ry Ngin Ouk was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother during her wonderful 80 years of life. With deep love, we announce Ry passed peacefully in the early hours of Saturday, September 12, 2026.

Ry Ngin Ouk born to Seim (Mother) and Ngin (Father) on April 8, 1946 in Takéo Province, Cambodia, the youngest of five children. She is proceeded in death by her parents Seim and Ngin, her siblings Chhorn Ouk, Chhan Ouk, Yorn Ngin, Rin Ngin and her husband Mong Nget.

Ry spent a majority of her life in Cambodia before immigrating to the United States on March 19, 1983. Here in the states, she lived a fulfilling life with her husband and her seven children.

She enjoyed tending to her garden and cooking with the fruits of her labor, nurturing her family with warm rice and comforting meals, always. Her favorite treats were anything sweet and it wouldn’t have been completed without a cup of coffee. Her appetite embodied her sweet and caring nature which was felt among family and friends and will forever be felt for generations to come.

Ry will be lovingly remembered by her children Reth N. Ung (Sokhannara Ung), Alexsa Ngin (Sophal San), Veth Ngin (Vanna You), Roeurn Ngin (Somvang Moanboua), Sarom Ngin (Yon Khuth, Sarun N. Rhodes (Joseph Rhodes), and Sarem N. Phommakhy (Sam Phommakhy). She will also be remembered through her sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
