Rosemary Mackey, 86, left her caring family on Tuesday, Dec. 9th, 2014 to be with the love of her life, Donald Mackey. She was a resident of Samaritan Bethany for the past four years.

Rosemary was born on Oct. 5th, 1928, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN, to Lawrence and Regina Forbes. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1946. On Aug. 20th, 1949, she was joined in holy matrimony to Donald C. Mackey at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Rochester. Don and Rosemary were true stewards of the Catholic faith, and together they raised eight children and were blessed with thirteen grandchildren and a great-grandson.

She enjoyed golfing, cooking, water skiing, playing bingo, cards and board games, trips to the casino with Don and truly enjoyed a good laugh.  She treasured time with her family and friends and was happiest attending sporting events of her children and grandchildren. Rosemary was a long-standing member of St. Francis Church where she served on many auxiliaries and was a volunteer Boy Scout leader.
