Rose Marie Laughton, 81, of Rochester, MN passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at her home.

Rose Marie was born on January 28, 1940 in Brainerd, Minnesota to Frank and Rose (Hurner) Dieter.  She married Joseph L. Laughton Sr. on November 22, 1958 in Brainerd.  She enjoyed playing bingo and rubbing scratch off tickets, watching and feeding birds and rabbits for entertainment. She also enjoyed listening to Polka music as she cleaned her home.  She was a meticulous homemaker, raising her son and keeping their house in order.  She took a lot of pride of having the cleanest house possible.

She is survived by her husband Joseph L. Laughton Sr. and her son Joseph L. Laughton Jr.

There will be a private graveside service in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.  A memorial service for the public will be scheduled at a later date.
