The funeral Mass for Rose Ann Cummings will be at 11:00am Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Rochester with the Rev.  Shawn  Haremza officiating.  Burial will be in the Chatfield Cemetery, Chatfield, MN.

Rose, 67, died on January 12, 2014 at Olmsted Medical Center Hospital.

Rose was born May 11, 1946 in Rochester and as a child moved to Austin where she graduated from Pacelli High School in 1964. Following high school she moved back to Rochester and worked for Snyder Drug Store.  She later moved to Faribault for schooling in caring for the handicap.  Upon graduating she worked for the Rochester State Hospital until it closed.  She then worked for Bear Creek Services and later Possibilities where she was employed at the time of her death.

Rose loved her job especially her participation with the "SPRED" program, a religious program for those with disabilities.  She enjoyed traveling and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by a son, John Paul Cummings of Rochester and her mother Elizabeth "Betty" Cummings also of Rochester.  Her father Duane Cummings preceded her in death.

Visitation will be one hour in advance of the Mass 10:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday at the church.
