Ronald (Ron) Lee Nelson, born on April 20, 1951, in Iowa to Jerold and Gwendolyn, passed away on November 10, 2024. Ron's life was centered around his beloved dogs, who were truly his children: Buddy, Max, and Tucker, who will deeply feel his absence. He was predeceased by his cherished dogs Spot and Wilbur, along with his parents.

A devoted caretaker, Ron carefully planned and created specialized recipes for his dogs, treating them with the same love and attention as family. Though he embraced a primarily vegan lifestyle, he would occasionally prepare fish for himself and cook turkey for his "kids" on special occasions, making holiday meals a family affair. Ron's kindness and warmth made him a cherished friend, neighbor, and a beloved member of his Trader Joe's family.
