A memorial service for Robert "Bob" Lawrence Kaeder will be at 12:00pm on Tuesday, September, 16th at the River Park Chapel, Macken Funeral Home ( 1105 12 ^th Street SE, Rochester, MN) with Pastor Linda Helberg officiating.  There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Kaeder, age 68, of Rochester passed away on September 12, 2014 at St. Marys Hospital.  He was born on May 10, 1946 in St. Paul, MN to Bernard and Cecelia Kaeder.

Bob graduated from North St. Paul High School.  He spent 30 years as a truck driver, several years as a farm hand on a cattle farm. He contracted polio as a child leaving him handicapped in his arm and leg; however he lived a productive and full life.  He enjoyed restoring old tractors, attending antique shows and auctions, and camping.  Blessed with a large family; Bob was a firm parent, fun grandparent, encouraging and interested in the lives of his family.  He was brought up in a Roman Catholic home and raised his family in a Christian church.

He is survived by his wife Linda Kaeder; children Jeffrey Robert Kaeder, Daniel Mark Kaeder, Connie Ann Silva, Becky Wilson, Lisa Hanson, Rick Wilson and Matt Wilson; 16 grandchildren and 3 great grand children; his stepmother, Doris Kaeder; siblings Shirley Valenziano, Mary Beyl, Paul Kaeder, Tom Kaeder, Jim Kaeder.  He is preceded in death by his brothers Michael Kaeder and Richard Kaeder.
