Obituary

Richard "Dick" Larson, 85 of Rochester, passed away Thursday, March 24th at Golden Living Center in Rochester.

Dick was born September 28, 1930 near Bangor, Wisconsin to Edwin and Eda Larson.

After serving in Europe with the Army, Dick returned home and moved to Rochester where he met and married Norma Lenn on September 20, 1958. They enjoyed many years together until Norma's passing in 1996. Dick and Norma owned and operated the Hammond Store for 4 years. He drove truck for Murphy Transport, worked at K-Mart and Whistle Binkies before retiring in 2006.

Dick is survived by several loving sisters-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Norma, seven brothers and two sisters.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester, Minnesota. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester, Minnesota.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Eagles Cancer Telethon, Red Cross or Salvation Army.
