Born in Indian Creek, Wabasha County seventy years ago, Raymond L. Cole, Sr. succumbed to cancer after a five year fight. Proud father and owner of Cole's Trucking, he is survived by his wife, Nancy of fifty years, along with seven children:  Raymond (Michele) Cole, Jr., Regina (David) Rinehart, Dale (Terry Behnken) Cole, Chris (Melody) Cole, Shannon (Ward) Field, Matthew Cole and Michael Cole. Thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.

In addition, he is survived by four brothers and five sisters: Richard Cole of Waseca; Bob (Bonnie) Cole of Owatonna; John (Dawn) Cole of Chatfield; Jim (Mary) Cole of Rochester; Rosemary Imm of Byron; Clara Markum of Winona; Margaret Cole of Richfield; Patricia Cole of Rochester and Linda Cole of Rochester.

A lover of polkas, cowboy movies and auctions Ray leaves us with a full heart for all kids and his family. His love of conversation and being Santa Claus will be remembered by us all.

A Catholic Service will be held in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home 11:00AM Tuesday, January 11, 2011 officiated by Rev. Harry Jewison.
