The funeral service for Proscovia Godi will be Saturday, June 27 at 10:00AM at Bethel Lutheran Church in Rochester with the Rev. Anjanette Rist officiating.

Mrs. Godi , 33 died Monday, June 22 at Rochester Methodist Hospital of cancer.  She had been ill for over two years.

Mrs. Godi was born February 10, 1976 in Kampala Uganda, Africa.   In 1990, she married Scopas Solomon Godi in Uganda.  Mr. Godi is an escort for Mayo Clinic.  At the time of her death, she had been attending college to complete her Registered Nursing Degree.  She had been a Licensed Practical Nurse and had worked at Samaritan Bethany Heights.

She is survived by her husband; 2 sons; Erickson and Joma; 1 daughter; Eron ; a niece and nephew, Moses and Mary, all of Rochester.  She is also survived by her mother, Gartride Wanyana of Uganda.  She was preceded in death by her father and one sister.

Friends may call from 5:00PM – 8:00PM, Friday, June 26 at Macken Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.  Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
