Phimpha Phrachansisourath – Rochester

A funeral service for Phimpha Phrachansisourath will be at 1:00 PM Saturday December 11 ^th in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home, 1105 12 ^th Street SE. Rochester.

Mr. Phrachansisourath, 93 died at home on Friday December 3 ^rd in Rochester. He was born on June 15 ^th 1917 in Xiengkouang Laos to Tha and Khamphouang Phrachansisourath. He Married Thien Thammavongsa in Paksane Laos on July 11, 1949.

Mr. Phrachsisourath was an Operator Technician for the Department of International Telecommunication in Vientian Laos and the mayor of Bann Saylom Laos.

He arrived in the United with his family on September 22 ^nd 1986 and achieved his dream of becoming an American citizen in May of 1996.

Phimpha enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Thien of Rochester, MN., Four sons Oukhane Phrachansisourath of Rochester; Oden Prachan of Ft. Worth, TX. ; Don Prachan of Chicago, Il. ; Kino Phrachansisourath of Rochester. He is also survived by seven daughters, Amphone Tieman of Rochester ; Amphan Ounkong of Austin, MN. ; Ammanivone Poulson of Rochester, MN. ; Samone St. Denis of Rochester, MN. ; Moumee Phomsaly of Moorsville, NC. ; Noy Huynh of Champlin, MN. And Alouna Martin of Statesville, NC.

Visitation will be from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM Friday December 10 ^th at The River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home, and also one hour before the service at  River Park Chapel on Saturday. Macken Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences are welcome at www.macken funeralhome.com
