The funeral for Phat  Srisomphou will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday March 1, 2014 in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday.

Mr. Srisomphou of Rochester died of cancer on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Phat was born March 7, 1954 in Laos. He married Nouachanh  Phommy on October  11, 1966.  Phat spent time with family living in Austin, MN in 1991, then moving to Madison, WI in 2003 and finally moved to Rochester in 2013. Mr. Srisomphou worked for QPP from 1992 to 1998 and after his diagnosis he worked part time till 2002.

Survivors include his three children Sourat (Anige)  Srisomphou of Austin, MN.,  Savivanh (Kwan) Srisomphou of Rochester, MN., and Shannon (Max) Srisomphou of Milwaukee, WI. He also has eight grandchildren, Julie, Andrea, Willy, Benjamin, Kwan Jr., Karon, Monolaa, and Jadelynn.

Phat enjoyed fishing, hunting, music, and working on his car.
