Paul Zimprich, 74, of Rochester, MN, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019.

Paul was born November 28, 1944 to Bernard and Dorothy (Hebl) Zimprich in Austin, MN.

Paul worked at the Mayo Clinic the majority of his working career. He started in general X-Ray, then CT Scanning, MRI (NMRI), and last he taught at the Radiology School at the Mayo Clinic.

Paul loved adventure and traveling. Throughout his life, he had many passions including hunting, fishing, skiing, biking, sailing, and motorcycle riding. He always approached these passions with all his energy. As for travel, he toured the majority of the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and several trips up the Alaskan Highway. Paul would always be willing to help those in need, whether they were family or not.

Paul is survived by his wife, Pamela Susan Farmer; son, John Paul (Kim) Zimprich; and grandchildren, Madeline Zimprich and William Zimprich. He is also survived by his older sister, Carol Cuffel; and older brother, Robert Zimprich.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Sharon Anne (Morrison) Zimprich; and twin sister, Pauline Agan.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2019 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral with a prayer service starting at 1:45 p.m. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
