Paul Joseph Brown, 51 of Byron, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 after a short battle with cancer.  He was born in Rochester on March 8, 1963 to Kenneth and Joan Brown.

He is survived by his parents and siblings Jackie (Mike) Smutka, Charlie (Patti) Brown, Brandon Brown, Jill (Ron) Carlson and Jean Boyum.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and was proud to be godfather to his niece Jenny.

In his spare time Paul enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends, especially Bryan DeCook and Dan Griffin.  His special friend Terri Stirneman also survives.

Paul attended St. Francis of Assisi Elementary School and graduated from Byron High School.  In his earlier years he was an electrician for Ed Brown Electric.  He was employed by Hayfield Window and Door Company the past several years.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30AM on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Church of the Resurrection in Rochester, with Father Kevin Connolly presiding.  Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery  in Rochester.  Memorials to the family are preferred.
