Patrick Gregory Okronglis, 69, of Zumbrota, died peacefully in his home Saturday, August 3, 2019.

Pat was born in Moose Lake, MN on St. Patrick's Day in 1950 to Joseph and Harriet (Nelson) Okronglis.

Pat had a great sense of humor and was able to get everyone to laugh.

During his working years, Pat worked construction jobs consisting of roofing, siding, framing, decks, and he even built his own house in Duluth. He also worked for his nephew, Mike, in the computer recycling business. Pat used his handy work to build an intricate doll house for his daughter and even a tree house with a rope ladder. He loved to tinker with his electric guitar and keyboard; often free styling his own flavor of music with rock centered inspiration.

His affinity for fishing brought him, his daughter, son in-law, and girlfriend to the North Shore of Lake Superior annually where they tried their luck for his favorite fish, the brook trout. He especially loved the time they took a charter out from Canal Park and landed trophy lake trout.

Pat is survived by his daughter, Cassie (Trevor) Wellen-Okronglis; nephew, Mike Svercl; girlfriend, June Heidelberger; ex-wife, Jane Okronglis. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, David, Sharon, Virginia, and Mary.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10th in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home.
