Patricia Ann "Patty" Viker, 65 of Rochester, passed away peacefully at her home on January 13, 2026.
Pat was born on November 29, 1960 in Rochester to Floyd and Florene (Nash) Whipple. She attended Rochester Central Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Mayo High School. Soon after, she began working at Mayo Clinic at St. Marys Hospital, in Dietetics. On October 8, 1988 she married the love of her life, Bobby Joe Viker, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rochester. Together, the couple raised their two girls in Rochester. Patty was a social person who loved being with her friends and family. She enjoyed fishing with her husband, baking, cooking, gardening, canning and sewing. She and her husband raised and showed purebred Vizsla dogs. Pat deeply missed her husband since his passing in 2016. May she find eternal peace with him.
She is survived by her daughters Sarah (Ben) Wilson of Kasson, Katharine (Chase) Mullenbach of Stewartville, grandchildren Emma, Evie, Elise, Quincy, Calvin, Lucille, Lennon, James, Eli, her siblings Suzanne Irvin, Nancy (Roy Gene) Kruger, Ronald Whipple and beloved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobby, and brothers Richard Whipple and Kevin Whipple.
The Funeral Service for Patricia will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 11:00AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rochester with Pastor Timothy Smith officiating. Visitation will be held Monday evening, January 19, 2026 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home along with one hour prior to the service at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial following the luncheon will be at East St. Olaf Cemetery, Rock Dell, MN.
