Patricia “Pat” Marie Long - Rochester

Pat Long, 82, of Rochester, MN died Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Hospital Nasseff Tower.

Pat was born June 8, 1943, in El Paso, TX to Frederick and Lillian Blanks.

She graduated from Compton High School in 1961. On May 5, 1962, she married her High School sweetheart, Gary Long. The couple lived in Bothell, WA until Gary’s death in 2003 of cancer. Pat moved to Portland, Oregon. After many years there she moved to Rochester, MN in 2019 to be closer to her only son, Gary C Long.

Pat loved traveling, listening to books on tape, casinos and doll houses.

She is survived by her son Gary C Long and close friend David W Iverson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, father, mother and brother.
