Ondrea Lee Gay, 78, of Chatfield, MN died Monday, May 31, 2021 at Chosen Valley Care Center in Chatfield, MN.

She was born December 24, 1942 in North Bend, Wisconsin to James and Garnet Holseth (Reichert). She graduated from Onalaska High School in June, 1957. She attended the School of Cosmetology in La Crosse, WI in 1960. She graduated to be hairdresser. She then attended North Central Bible college in Minneapolis, MN in 1963, where she met her husband of 54 years, Rev. George Gay.

Ondrea loved being a minister's wife and helping others. She loved Jesus and her faith was her strong suit. She loved to garden and plant flowers. She loved chocolate and would share with the grandkids.

Ondrea is survived by her daughter, Janet Lee (Gay) Scofield of Dover, MN; son, David Holseth of Rochester; two grandchildren, Joseph Scofield and Timothy Scofield; brother, Daniel Hullett, and  daughter-in-law, Jenifer Holseth.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Garnet Holseth and father, James Holseth.

Funeral service for Ondrea will be at 1:00 p.m. in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester, MN.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
