The funeral service for On Khamda will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 29, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2911 18th Ave. NW, Rochester, MN with Pastor Ron Buzard officiating.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.  Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

On Khamda, 86, of Rochester, died on August 22, at her residence.  She was born September 12, 1923 in Sayaboury, Laos.  In 1943 she married Krom Khamda in Sayaboury Laos.  Krom passed away on November 8, 1997.  After their marriage, they moved to Thailand.  On has been a Rochester resident since moving from Thailand on September 12, 1987.

Survivors include her children;  Sone Khamda of Sayaboury, Laos, Yeun Khamda, Mat Khamda, Devin Khamda, Kristi Tommavongsa all of Rochester, and 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and one brother, Paeng Choumboua.  She was preceded in death by her spouse, 2 sons and 1 daughter.

Mrs. Khamda was a housewife and enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
