Noreen Adell McCarthy was born November 7, 1933 in Rochester to Justin and Lillian (Doole) McCarthy. Noreen attended St. John's Grade School, and graduated from Lourdes High School in 1951. She married Richard "Dick" Skogen at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on December 1, 1951. Noreen was involved with the Rochester Senior Center, Senior Center Quilters, Red Hat Society, Rochester Area Credit Professionals, and ABWA (American Business Women's Association), where she was voted "Woman of the Year". Noreen also loved to volunteer her time and talent in the community.
