Nicholas "Nick" Drew Hedberg, 79 of Rochester, passed away peacefully at his home on January 17, 2026.

Nick was born March 13, 1946 in Red Wing, MN to Andrew and Avis (Harper) Hedberg. He graduated from Rochester High School in 1964. Soon thereafter, he began working for IBM. He married Linda Lund, and to this union, two sons were born. The couple was later divorced. He retired from IBM in the mid 1990's and later worked for Mayo Clinic in Computer Support. Nick enjoyed fishing, golfing with friends, and

especially spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons Tony (Jenny) of St. Paul, John (Nora) of Mexico, grandchildren Andy, Lily, and his loving partner Carole Mataya of Rochester.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Dan.

A Memorial Service for Nick is planned for Summer 2026. Details will be released later.
