Mary E. Tarara, age 83, passed away on August 29, 2010, at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Mary was born on December 10, 1926 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin to Elmer and Mildred Paquette.  Mary received her Nurses training at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester and was employed there as a Registered Nurse.  After her retirement she remained busy raising her five children.  Mary was active in the St. Johns Altar Society.  She also acted as a host for Philippine Nursing Students.

Mary is survived by her five children; Elizabeth (Bill) Warfield of Hammond, MN, Barbara Tarara of Bloomington, MN, James (Lois Till-Tarara) of Pine Island, MN, Steven (Deb) Tarara of Elgin, MN, David (Lisa) Tarara of Shakopee, MN, four grand-children, three great-grandchildren, and one brother, James (Judy) Paquette.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward (who passed away on December 27, 2009). and one brother, Joseph Paquette.

A funeral mass is planned for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 2, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Lasuba officiating.  Visitation will be one half-hour prior to services at the church.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rochester.
