The funeral Mass for Mary Eileen Higgins will be at 11:00a.m. Saturday October 9, 2010 at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester with Rev. Paul Nelson officiating .  Visitation will be from 10:00a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.

Mary Eileen Higgins passed away on October 2, 2010 at Golden Living Center East in Rochester, MN at the age of 84.

Mary was a lifelong resident of Rochester and was at Golden Living Center for the past 2 years.  Mary retired from Ellerby Architecture firm where she served as the executive assistant to president of the company.

Mary is survived by her brother, Mike Higgins also from Rochester.  Mary is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, and numerous grand nieces and nephews who will miss her.   She is preceded in death by her mother, Susie Higgins, her father, Michael Higgins, and her sister, Marlyce Higgins Abbott.
