Mary Josephine Clark, 79, of Rochester, died Sunday, March 10, 2019.  Mary was born on April 8, 1939 in Gaza, Iowa to Otto and Ethel (Mathern) Clark.  She moved with her family as a young girl to rural Worthington where she grew up on the family farm and attended Worthington schools.  Mary graduated from Worthington High School in 1957.  Mary worked at St. Marys Hospital, IBM and St. Francis of Assisi School and later volunteered driving for Olmsted County.

Mary enjoyed driving for the county and the people she drove.  She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church for many years.

Mary is survived by her sisters, Lois Sehr of New Ulm, Verna Schons of Owatonna and Virginia Norgaarden of Rochester and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim Clark and Jack Clark; sisters, Colleen Clark and Catherine O'Brien.

The Memorial Mass for Mary Clark will be at 11am Saturday, June 1, 2019 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with the Rev. Jim Berning officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Rochester.
