Mary Louise Chappuis 

Mary Louise Walker was born May 10, 1936 to Wesley and Marie Walker.

She graduated from Bethlehem Academy High School in Faribault in 1954. She attended St, Mary’s School of Nursing earning a Registered Nursing Degree.

She married Robert Chappuis in Kingston, NY on December 27, 1958. They were married 56 years until his death in 2014.

Mary is survived by her children, John (Rhonda), Bill (Penny), Aimee (Joe), Nicole (Bruce) and son-in-law Kent; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, two sons, Michael and Mark, and daughter Michelle.

In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to St. Judes.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11: 00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church in Rochester, Minnesota. A visitation will be held the night prior on Tuesday September 8, 2026 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary service beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held one hour prior to the Mass at the church the following day.
