Marlowe Eugene Bennett, 82, of Rochester, MN, died Wednesday, October 14, 2020.

Marlowe was born April 4, 1938 in Pleasant Grove, MN to Louis and Agnes (Halverson) Bennett. Township on the family farm until age 7 when the family moved to small acreage in Rochester.  The same year he joined his lifelong church, Redeemer Lutheran and the Boy Scouts of America

After high school, Marlowe joined the army. Once returning to Rochester he went on being a lifelong career as a major procurement purchaser. Marlowe met and married his lifelong and forever love Mary Ann in 1963. In 1964 they welcomed their son Paul. Marlowe was a one wife, one child, one home and one profession kind of person. After an early retirement he enjoyed volunteering at Redeemer Lutheran Church and for the Boy Scouts of America.

Marlowe is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Chambers Bennett and son Paul (partner Aj) Bennett.

The memorial service for Marlowe will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 19, 2020 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Koglin officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service on Monday.
