The funeral for Marie Kay Cloutier will be at 11:00AM Saturday, March 3, 2012 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Kasson with Pastor Marie AK Anderson officiating.  Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Kasson.  Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00PM Friday, March 2, 2012 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.  Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Kasson.

Marie Cloutier, 58, of Rochester, died Monday, February 27, 2012 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester after a lengthy illness.

Marie was born January 5, 1954 in Rochester, MN to Menton and Marilyn Grove.  She graduated from Kasson-Mantorville High School in 1972.  On September 29, 1973 she married Steven Cloutier at St. John's Lutheran Church in Kasson.  She took medical secretary training at Rochester Community College.

Marie was a long-time, well respected employee with Olmsted County Zoning/Planning.  She recently retired after 30 years.  Her husband, Steve, is employed by Viking Electric.

Marie is survived by her husband, Steven, one son, Keith Cloutier of Kasson, her parents,  Marilyn and Menton Grove of Kasson, one grandchild, Kyle Cloutier, one step-grandson, Austin Briske of Kasson, one sister, Marcia (Steve) Simonson of Rochester, one brother, Marvin Grove of Kasson and a special friend, Julie Gilligan of Apple Valley.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Grove and her grandparents.

Marie always made a point of remembering other people's special occasions by sending cards.  She enjoyed her trips to the lake and loved her dogs.
